Daily imperfections occur and I have to say make me laugh! This week I had some shining moments:
1. I was giving my self a bang trim. It turned out pretty good and I was proud of my handy work until I realized I was hovering the whole time over my wine glass. Ooops.
2. After a long run I ran to the kitchen to make a smoothie. I whipped out our new blender. I say “NEW” because last week our old one started smoking and the plastic melted and BLEW off. Yes- exploded! Our nifty new one pulses and I’m not used to that yet. SO- when I thought it was done I pulled the top off. BIG mistake. You’ll never guess…it wasn’t done! Purple goodness shot EVERYWHERE. My mom was on the phone and turned to look at me in shock. It was on the ceiling, the cabinets, the floor, and yes people, in my hair!!!! My mom has now put me on a “blender restriction”.
3. For those of you who don’t know- I temporarily live with my parents {which explains #2}. I’m house hunting which can be tricky so I’m lucky enough to have a great family to lean on! The mini-me loves this and on multiple occasions this week I heard the ever wonderful phrases “OOH-I’m so telling Nana on you“! Or even better “your mom is going to be so mad” . So what prompts these responses from my little 6 year old, if I eat in the den or even if I let the dogs eat the crumbs off the floor. Over all it’s kinda funny! Not many 28+3 year olds can say this {yea- thats how I refer to my age}
4.One last thing..this morning I forgot the uber-min’s lunch box. So in true multitasking form I combined the lunch delivery with my morning run. So- if you happen to be driving through little 5 points and saw a girl hauling bootie proudly dawning a bright green smily faced froggy lunch box- it was me! It was quite the fashion statment:)
Enough nonsense and on to business…wedding post time!!! Carlie + Justin’s wedding was one that we will always remember. We got to know Carlie pretty well during the planing process and did a few sessions with her and her boy! {click HERE to see their e-sesh }By the time her wedding rolled around it was like going to a new friends celebration! We had heard roomers of her hay bale seating, quilts galore, little piggies, pumpkins, tree swings, and smores! This chick did ALL of this her self {with a bit of help from family}. The wedding took place on her grandparents farm on White Western Lake. She had a vision and tossed all of her creative energy into one sweet, heart felt event!!!! We LOVED capturing every second!!!!!
Hope y’all enjoy!!!
